I came from a retail background into Standard Life. At first I found the change in work environment very intimidating but the people in my team and in the company were very friendly and welcoming.
As a company Standard Life are very people focused and I see the people I work with as my friends. As a customer services rep., I face new and exciting challenges every day. There is a lot of emphasis on development and a solid framework of support from an executive level right down to my peers. Standard Life promotes a good work/life balance and this can be seen through the many social events that are organised throughout the year. It's definitely a great place to work!

What I enjoy the most about working here is that my days certainly don't drag on! Working in Product Development we are constantly looking for ways to improve our products and as you would expect, innovative ideas are always welcomed!
At present we are looking to move in to new markets so working in the International team, ensures that I am right at the forefront of this. You are challenged to exceed expectations and rewarded when you do so.

What I enjoy most about working in Standard Life is the people who I work with. My team has a good relationship both in and out of work and this creates a good work environment. There's a positive atmosphere within the team which is important particularly through busier and more demanding times of the year.
