Fiancial products can be complicated and we strongly recommend that you seek independent financial advice before buying an investment product.
There are two main classes of advisors:
- Multi-Agency Intermediaries
- Authorised Advisors
Multi-Agency Intermediaries sell the products of few companies for which they have agencies (normally 4 or 5) and they are not allowed to advise you on any other products.
Authorised Advisors are free to advise you on any product, whether or not they have an agency for it.
