I came from a retail background into Standard Life. At first I found the change in work environment very intimidating but the people in my team and in the company were very friendly and welcoming.
As a company Standard Life is very people focused and I see the people I work with as my friends. As a customer services specialist. I face new and exciting challenges every day. There is a lot of emphasis on development and a solid framework of support from an executive level right down to my peers. Standard Life promotes a good work/life balance and this can be seen through the many social events that are organised throughout the year. It's definitely a great place to work!
