Our support for Direct Clients (non-advised)

In the event that you do not have, or don’t wish to use, an adviser we may be able to assist you with our Direct Clients (non-advised) service.  This service is designed to help you with new business enquiries and the on-going administration of your policy without advice or recommendation from us. We can give you information, illustrations, answer technical questions and carry out your instructions. 

The services we provide to our Direct Clients (non-advised): 

  • Pensions and investments technical support 
  • Access to policy information by secure log in at standardlife.ie 
  • Access to our Fund Centre on www.standardlife.ie providing up to date information on our funds and their performance 
  • Full support for administration and servicing enquiries and instructions: (01) 6397000

Meet the team

You can speak to any member of our Direct Client team face to face, over the phone or via the direct team mailbox. If you know who you’d like to speak to, here’s how to get in touch:

Your Direct Clients (non-advised) PRSA application journey

Step 1: Speak to a Standard Life Direct Consultant

You’ll have a conversation with a Direct Consultant and confirm that you’d like to proceed with a Direct Clients (non-advised) PRSA application.

Step 2: Receive your application email

Your Direct Consultant will email you: 

  • The terms and conditions 
  • A link to your online PRSA application form

Step 3: Complete the online form

Once you’ve read and understood the terms and conditions, click the link in the email to complete your application.  

You’ll be asked to enter your details and review a summary before proceeding. 
When you’re happy that everything is correct, click next on the Summary page. 

Step 4: Review and sign with DocuSign

You will then be brought to the DocuSign pages where you can review the application form and electronically sign your application form. Once signed, submit the form so it can move to the next step.

Step 5: Employer signs (if applicable)

If your PRSA is being set up through your employer: 

  • Your employer will receive a DocuSign email 
  • They’ll review and sign the application 
  • The form is then sent to Standard Life

Step 6: Direct Consultant review and signoff

Your Direct Consultant agent will: 

  • Review the completed application 
  • Sign it 
  • Forward it to our New Business team

Step 7: We set up your PRSA 

Our New Business team will set up your PRSA and contact you if any further information is needed.
